A little bit more about my track.
It's a 4 lane Tomy track that's about 38 1/2 feet around.
Pyramid PS - 32 power supply.
XLR & 3 post controller hook ups and the track is wired for brakes.
Track was wired by the best, Speedynh!
Yes Todd, HP & brakes are a key to a good lap! :auto-driving:


Was thinking about a format for the race, I'm going to qualify all the cars on lane 3 which is the best lane.
Then for the race run all the cars for 2 minute heats on all lanes.
Total laps will determine the winner.

Hopefully Don will be out of the dog house by next weekend to bring the cars over!
And Z-carfan's car will make the race too.

Note, no cars were taken part or opened up. My #4 mustang changed to #4X, Normans #16 changed to #65

#41 to fast, hard to handle at top speed weight 21.9 grams fast lap time 4.95
#6 a blue streak, easy to drive, weight 20.9 grams fast lap time 4.99
#3 Lots of brakes, track pick ups made into "ski shoe" pick ups ????, weight 21.7 grams fast lap time 5.01
# 88 my pick to win the race. weight 21.4 grams fast lap time 5.02
#5 rear tires in question, inside rear of body removed but ok as now the same as others. weight 22.1 gramsfast lap time 5.05
#98 nice setup, super quite weight 21.4 grams fast lap time 5.12
#76 runs nice and drives easy, weight 21.7 grams fast lap time 5.13
#65 nice running car weight 21.4 grams fast lap time 5.19
#4X very smooth and quite, weight 21.2 grams fast lap time 5.36
#56 front screw rubs on the track, very bouncy, may be to much spring ? weight 21.7 grams fast lap time 5.55

#67 body rubbing on rear gear, I loosen up front body screw after qualifying and car pick up speed and handling, weight 21.6 fast lap time 5.99

I'd like to mention we changed numbers on 2 cars so there wouldn't be duplicate numbers.

And the qualifying and race were run at 18 volts track power.
I did all the qualifying & Austin and I split the racing - I did lanes 1 & 3 and Austin ran lanes 2 & 4.
Also had a friend of mine ( Dave ) stopped by to help out with corner marshaling, so we had 2 corners which really helped.

We didn't have a lap top to do the wi fi broadcast, perhaps next race.

I believe because of my old woodstove being so close to the track we had alot of dust in the air which settled onto the track.
This caused the grip to really go away after about one minute of the two minute heats.
Some of the cars didn't get as loose as others, but they all suffered as the heat reached the end.

Anyway, here are the results of the first leg of the HO Trans - Am Proxy:

This was alot of fun for me to not only see all the nice cars, but get to race them too!
