Saturday action at Palmer Beach Raceways!

APalmer invited a number of us down Saturday for some great racing, food and fun!

Action kicked off on the "Sand Pit" oval with Whelen Modifieds!







































The action was definitely wild with the everyone needing to pick their battles wisely as open wheel action is pretty unforgiving when you try to "rub" the guy on the outside! :lol:

When the checkered flag fell - the results were:

The next class to hit the tight turns of the Sand Pit oval were the Fairground class cars!

The Fairground cars never disappoint in the "fun factor" department! There were a lot of close battles throughout the field, with multiple positions coming down to segments on the same lap after over 100 laps!

The final class to kick up dust on the "Sand Pit" was the Pre-1980 Sportsman class!

Cool cars and fun racing! It's worth the trip for me to run these events. I never thought I'd be a fan of Tjets but these cars once tuned a little are awesome!

I don't even mind running in the back! :D
