Postby TuscoTodd » Sun Nov 05, 2017 9:02 am

Yesterday, a number of us hit the road to head to the east to Pittsburgh for an evening of good times and racing on Jeff Albitz's "The Badlands" speedway!
:banana-dance:

Jeff had a GREAT turn out with 17 racers being present for the good times and racing!

Here are a couple shots of the track:

The final class for the evening and definitely the most entertaining one was an IROC format race using AutoWorld Racing rigs that our host had prepped and color coded to each lane (the rigs stay in the respective lanes and the drivers rotate)
To say these were entertaining would be an understatement!!!

The Racing Rigs!
In red lane - it was the Red and Chrome TEXACO Tanker!

Image

In the white lane - the white and blue rig of "The King" Richard Petty!

Image

In the blue lane - it was the blue Nestle CRUNCH hauler!

Image

In the yellow lane - it was the yellow and white Holley Hooker Headers express!

Some pics from the action!

When the checkered flag dropped - the finishing order sorted out as follows:

Definitely a great way to finish off a great night of racing!!!
