Friday night at the "To be Named" Arrendale Speedway!

Friday night was filled with fun and laughs as three HRW members (APalmer, Slot Therapist and myself) made the trip north to Cuyahoga Falls, OH to run on Rick Arrendale's new 4-lane track!

(The track is so new Rick hasn't even decided on an official name for it yet!)

Details:
- Track: Freshly delivered MaxTrax 4-lane layout
- Table: 4'x12' with custom driver stations (using Slot Car Corner controller hook ups)
- Timing: Trackmate IR timing.

The first class of the evening was skinny tire T-jets!

The racers and cars were:
Our host - Rick Arrendale and his gold Camaro

HRW's Slot Therapist and his yellow and black '69 Camaro:

Steve Reed and his Grand Sport Corvette:

Which unfortunately, experienced a mechanical issue mid-race and was swapped out for an metallic orange Camaro:

HRW's APalmer and his green and gold Cougar:

Bill Graffius and his orange and white Camaro:

Russell May and his blue and yellow Challenger:

And yours truely with a green Maverick:

The skinny tire t-jets were right at home on this smooth track with a LOT of great back and forth / door to door action!
:D

Here are some pictures from the racing action...

Awesome report! Nice to get back into a hobby forum again. I used to follow a couple other forums until they loaded up with ads. This one is nice.

What a great report. That’s how it’s done!

Road trips are fun. Especially to help run in a new track. Looks like you will be on the road more often.

Nice track to say the least.

WOW! Good luck to the proud new speedway owner.
Cool design, a Quad Oval with road course infield. The table color nicely sets off the track, too.
Happy to see the only FORD in that field of T-Jets take home the trophy - I've got two of those Road Race Replica Mavericks myself.
A street style one like yours (mine's Red) for road racing, and a Grabber Blue drag car body kit for the 'strip.
Looks like FUN! Thanks for the photos, and... Enjoy, guys! -- Ernie :>)
