Today I was out and about, came a crossed a tag sale where I saw some
track that was shot, so I asked where are the cars. A bit later the people found them one Tyco Porsche #78 red, two life like, one A/FX charger.

It's the charger I'm wondering about, the color is white with a black hood and red number 11.

The glass is clear, the window net is there and overall the body is in good shape nothing missing even the screw post is in great shape. The number on the inside in front of the post is 1773-001 even the clear has the same number where it's mounted to the roof.
Can anyone tell me anything about this car please
Thank you in advance.

Bob Beers' book will get you that answer, but I sold mine when I sold all my cars.

Here is the picture from Bob Beers' book. The glass does look green. The car came out in 1972.

Thank you Way,Rich D I will definitely be on the look out for Bob Beers book.
I see that the pic has the green tint, mine dose not look green, and the spoiler on the front is the only part missing.

But for $2.50 I'm not going to nit pick it to death, I'm going to just enjoy running this car after a clean up, tires and a little tuning.

Man, for $2.50 you'll usually be lucky to buy a used replacement bumper for that MoPar, so you did pretty good, I'd say!
The A/FX Charger is one of the better handling of the early 1970's A/FX NASCAR stockers, along with the Chevelle (#17, #29).
If yours has a clear windshield, it may be one of the earlier produced models, but I can't say for sure. My "butterscotch" Charger with red #11 has green tinted windows, and it's the first one I bought back in the day. I do remember some of the earliest Dodge Daytona A/FX bodies having clear windows, because we used to tint them red, blue, or green ourselves.

Contact my friend Bob Beers at <auroraslotcarsbobbeers.com>
He may have an answer for you, and still has copies of his book for sale.
Anyone interested in Aurora HO slot cars should have at least one copy just for reference.

Hope this helps you out, and... Enjoy racing that Charger! -- Ernie :>)
