It works perfectly with 44X2 style cars...it will NOT read pancake motors (even the AW 4 gear with two magnets in the chassis). So, the cure is that you should either order the the photo sensor version (you can see I ordered the HO track version and yes, it fits the model motoring track perfectly but I SLID the track in and did NOT push the track into the sensor from the top) or place a strong magnet in the door (using super glue or tape) of the body you are using and the magnet should be on the same side as the sensor...so, probably a bit of tape so that you can change lanes would be best. I will post updates of my experiences...

But out of the box, the 440X2 style chassis (with big magnets) does the trick...again, simply order the photo sensor option if you want to use unmodified pancake chassis.

And the timing is FANTASTIC. OMG. Especially seeing your reaction time along with your ET. And staging...such fun...that's where the AW fell down...no staging...this requires you stage...haha...

I had Gorgar but sold it...I have Mata Hari and Seawitch...and a Crystal Castles original Atari video game. I want to sell Mata Hari, store Seawitch and then build a slot car track, again, in my garage...so yeah, love pins but they have got to go to make way for slots!
