Instead of starting with Johnny Lightening IROC cars, followed by Super Stock T-jets - we jumped right to the Super Stock T-jets.
Running back to back races as a nod to the format for the upcoming Ohio Cup Race that a number of us will be participating in.
(for reference, there are nearly 60 racers who have pre-registered for the Ohio Cup race, coming from as far away as California! Should be a great time!)

The first race was a two minute per lane "qualifier" race, after which the racers were realigned by finishing order to set the field for the four minute per lane "main" race.
We had ten racers total, so to keep things simple, the drivers were divided into two, five person groups for each heat.
The first heat for the "qualifier race" contained:
In yellow lane: My white Dodge Challenger
In blue lane: Jim with his orange Chevy Corvette
In white lane: Flash with his yellow Audi
In red lane: Earl with his green Ferrari F430
Russel with his orange Dodge Challenger coming in on yellow lane at the first lane rotation.
Heat two was made up of:
In yellow lane: Carl with his black and orange Chevy Camaro
In blue lane: Breadman with his grey Mitsubishi EVO
In white lane: John with his green Chevy Corvette
In red lane: RJ with his black Lamborghini Gallardo
Steve with his white and orange Nissan coming in on yellow lane at the first lane rotation.

At the end of the qualifier, there was a new track record set for the 2-minute Super Stock T-jet class at 52.06 laps!

At the end of the main, there was a new track record established for the 4-minute Super Stock T-jet class at 104.11 laps - almost a perfect doubling of the 2-minute record (by the same driver) - talk about consistency! :o
