From one Data Analyst to another.......
Interesting set of data there Alwyn, and I think the biggest takeaway is how the Q times influenced the ratings...
Would I be so bold to suggest the cars were qualified in reverse order, and the track improved over time? Cars lower down the field demonstrate a significant Speed Indice improvement in the race over Qualifying ( > 100% ) - which then carries through to influence the 'total rating' - so the table is showing cars finishing lower down the order having a better overall rating ( 97 - 98% ), compared to cars finishing above them being rated in the 93 - 94% range....
Somehow, that doesn't quite.......
Agree - the consistency across the field is a testament to both the builders and the drivers....
Anybody would think I examine and attempt to interpret sets of numbers for a living, sad hey......
