Woe, those look amazing. I don't usually do shelf queens but they would great sitting on my desk at the office. Might even spark some interest in the hobby....
Thanks for posting these Bruce! I thought I'd add a few more pix ;)
Photos of the prototypes of the new Carrera D124 Porsche 917s and a photo of the new Scuderia Porsche RSR. These are coming about the first week of December, i've just gotten confirmation of them leaving China. The photos are of the preproduction samples and there will be added tampo details not shown here and No.2 car does not have the center wing shown. It may be added for later editions of the 917.

The exterior detail on these 1/24 cars is great, but the inside stymies me. Why go through all of the trouble to make a car pretty enough to admire in its case (let alone on the track) and then not give it a full interior? I realize that Carrera 1/32 are all half-tray or so because of the inline configuration, but am I wrong in thinking that the same reason doesn't play here since the scale pushes the interior well ahead of where the motor would end?
I do not own any 1/24 cars, but would appreciate insight in to them. I really don't understand this and am not trying to bash Carrera. Thanks.
