Has anyone run or built small 1/24 cars? Kind of the idea BRM has but done at home?

No, but my interest has been piqued.
The last Slot Car Mods had an article about using Slot It running gear under a Tamiya Mini Cooper. Volume 4, Number 2.
Amato has printed chassis for Mini, Escort, and Rabbit models.

I’ve printed a Datsun 510....I may pod it....

Have built a VW Golf Gr.2, Datsun 240Z, VW Scirroco, Lotus Super 7 and Austin Mini Cooper S.

I like building them as I can use most of the same mechanical parts that I use for my 1/32 cars.

P.S. I've got a Tamiya Honda S800 Racer kit on the shelf for a conversion this fall.

Amato also does a chassis for the Tamiya MX5/Miata (original NA model) and I must pull finger and get a couple. The Tamiya MX5 body is about the same length as a Scalextric or Pioneer Dodge Charger and 7-8mm wider.

I would like to try the George Turner Mini in 1/24 scale....but as yet have not done so.
The kit comes with a resin chassis but requires a slotit pod for motor and transmission.

Always liked Minis and have owned a couple in the past.
