A little time this morning and I got the Brawner Hawk ready for a try out. I ended up using the LVJ narrow frame, cut some brass to fit the bottom of the body. Epoxied the brass to the LVJ frame parts which are too short to overlap as designed for 1/24, so they have to be butted together. I added a couple screws to hold the frame parts together also.
I got it set up with small wheels just to see how good it will handle. I have Protrack wheels to fit it that are bigger and allow the use of nice inserts. It will probably end up with the bigger tires after I do some testing.
This is an old 60's body that I painted on the outside. It was pretty well trashed as it was.
Next up is to complete the Travel On Trailer Indy car of Hurtibise, then....the Shadow Paul printed for me.
