Lotus 20 Formula junior

Im about to wrap up another friction car conversion. This one is a Lucky toys Lotus 20. Body is the same hard plastic as the rest of the ones I build, a bit thicker than a model car body. This one is based on a pic I found on the net of a 1:1 car. Chassis is brass scratch built, piranha motor, 9/27 gears (parma) and cut down H&R wheels running TRU tires front and rear. Parma guide this time as I had room for it. Lap times are mid 8's right now, as it is still breaking in, but runs right with the pack so far. Good lap time on my routed track is around 8 sec. flat. Still have some small detail work to do, like rear radius rods, mirrors, etc. Fun stuff with these cars!
