Well, I am on number 9 now, and still enjoying every build! I tried something different on this one. I used an AMT performance pack for wheels ,axles, gears etc. At $11.99, I figured if it was junk, I just wouldn't use it. Turns out, the axles are just a tad undersized from the 1/8" inch I normally use, but since the crown gear and wheels fit them, it all works out. I will be adding an insert, or maybe just a knockoff to the wheels. The chassis is 2mm brass rod, wheelbase is as measured from the kit. I did use a setback Parma guide on this one too. Shotgun Dave urethanes front and rear. And a bench motor that tested out at 18,600. so it is good to run with my others. Decals are VRM. Paint is Krylon light blue with ace clear. Bunch of detail stuff yet, and finish painting the driver. but it test ran good.

Great Video Harry! Those are some of the most fun wheel to wheel racing there is.
I sure wish I had been there to join in. But I am glad everyone enjoyed racing the Giant Midgets.
Might be a few more getting built after watching that!

Well, I finished her up! had some fun with some moon disc wheel covers in one pic. they are not staying, just thought they looked cool for the era. It runs like all the rest, Fun as heck, and slippery enough to be a handful.
