I gotta ask Harry, is that beautiful blue going to be the car color? That is stunning! Looks so good against the silver wheels. Also glad you find the tire fit to your liking, now lets see how they perform!

Well, not sure Bob. I was thinking basic black as there might be quite a few dark blue versions lol. But I can.

Beautiful start HW...does that Duplicolor lacquer bond well with the brass and not chip or peel?? :auto-layrubber: :auto-layrubber:

It does fairly well. I cleaned the entire chassis in Dawn with a toothbrush. I primered and then painted. It will still chip off under hard handling, but better than enamel in my experience.

Chassis is finished. Going HAWK on this one since the Stang has the Jaws. Also different gear ratio, just to see what happens.

Decided to try "Harry's Nuts" from Samson Classics to mount the guide.

Have to say these work fantastic. Really easy to install with the tool and very flat and precise.

Typical set up time using popsicle sticks. Look ok.

Slow going, but getting there.

Yes Sir, That's looking great! Those are some aggressive looking cars anyway, but then give them a stance like that, and its on! I bet she's a runner for sure.

So far, I really like the painted chassis, wheels and the stance of the body. Can't wait to see it all finished.

Best regards,
