We have have the venue all set for Round #5. Henning's Tronson Model Speedway is a Flat Latex painted wood track very well suited to the car designed for a twisty road course. It is not for the faint hearted! Good luck to all!
Henning will be planning the qualifying sometime within the next week and racing scheduled afterwards.
Henning qualified the Pioneeer cars today. A few shake ups like we figured would occur. Radarek's modified car and Midage Kid's stock car looks like they enjoy a good road course :auto-driving:
I will see if I can get some feedback and we will plan a race day with all the fellas.
Thanks for the update and getting qualifying in the books. I see I need to take both cars to the chassis shop. Congratulations to out top qualifiers. Let's see how race day plays out. Tom and Dariusz I hope I can keep/catch up.
Thanks for the qualifying run!!!! Boat anchors at both ends of the modified class with the ponies in the middle. This will make for interesting racing. Good luck to all the builders
good work getting the qualifying done, Q2, very happy with that.
Tom's Camaro looks to have found it's mojo after a win in the last round, .3 of a sec is a lot to make up, super close between all stock cars race day will be interesting, looking forward to it
Just make sure that stock #15 stay's ahead of the rest of the pack..lol. Good luck to everyone and have fun with these cars. They will surprise you in a lot of ways. Thanks for hosting and making this proxy so much fun.
Round 5 is all complete, Henning sent me the results last night. Henning drove in the red lane, Ken blue lane, and myself in the yellow lane. The cars were all mechanically sound yesterday and a lot of the cars drove a little differently as expected on Henning's twisty road course compared to the Canalami track the last round . Myself I really enjoyed driving Radarek's modified Camaro and the two Chargers. I did not know the results when I left yesterday but I thought Aaroldn's Modified Charger would of finished a little higher up. Radarek's Modified Camaro was very nimble and handled the banked and off camber corners very well. I am still surprised as to the traction on some of the stock cars with the stock tires, congrats to all for their work tuning an out of the box car.
Congrats to all and especially congrats to those that climbed up to reach the podium this time.
Thanks to all who helped run this round. Congratulations to the podium finishers. Looks like the big Charger is struggling. Not sure what's going on with. Will have to get with the chassis engineer when it gets back.
Thanks to Kelowna crew for getting another awesome round. The fie all the effort and reporting. Congrats to podiumites. Arrold your car is super fast maybe to fast this time a bit. I hope you do better next round.
