If anyone interested in hosting the Pioneer Endurance Proxy, please let me know asap. The information I require will be:

Name of host
Name of track
Address of the track
Length of the track
Number of lanes
Braid or foil
Surface finish
Type of lap recording system

I hope to have a mixture of plastic and wood surfaces to run on.. a decision on tracks will be made by the end of November so that I can begin to start to plan where the cars will be travelling and plan the logistics side of things. I would like to add that however is selected to run the cars, needs to have them raced and results sent within 4 weeks of receiving them. So please keep this in mind if you commit to this proxy.

Tom

Hi:

The rules for the 'box stock' class will stay as they are with the only change in the original document will be revised with:

. that the original magnet from the factory for the model you choose must stay in. Extra weights can be added but they have to be of non-magnetic material.

In regards to the 'modified' class, the additions will allow:

. any sidewinder up to 21.5 k can be used
. lightweight interiors can be utilized.

. There will be no sanding of the body posts. My aim is to have the freedom to do certain modifications but to have the challenge to keep the basic look of the car as original as possible to make it run with the above modifications and the mods allowed in the original document. I will add these changes over the weekend and that should wrap up the rules section.

The Mustang that I would like to use has been sitting around for a while. Where might I be able to find replacement stock tires? Thank you

In regards to the light weight interiors, you can use any material you like as long as there is a drivers shoulders, head, arms and a steering wheel. The more realistic it looks, the better. You can also stay with the standard Pioneer interior and shave some weight off of it as well.

Ops. I found a Mustang but I see Dave has the same number 35. Did you say we can send duplicate numbers? If not I will number it #53. The charger was a street version. I will see if I can get a race version. Well I could run in modified class and stick a number on it. Number would be #79.

By the way I am not sure who to thank. Jules it may be you. As I opened the package on the Mustang. I don't really know how long it has been in the bubble wrap 2 years maybe. Under the bottom of the case was a $10 bill. :text-thankyouyellow:

I believe that you bought a car from me a while back and I had over estimated the postage and sent the 10.00 back with the car.

Looks like I'll be in the paint booth. Unless I just put a number over the Mustangs. I am bidding on a charger on Ebay the #65 General Grant. I will paint the same color as my SRT, Silver Steel Metalic. I ordered some touch-up paint in a spray can. I will be painting a lot of cars this color. 53 is my birth yr and 79 is the month and date. These may become my numbers going forward. I have a Bengal Orange Charger but I don't want to paint it. I was wondering if the Charger would be competitive with the Mustang. I figured the longer wheel base might help. I haven't opened the Charger yet. I would think it would be wider giving it a better stance.

Yes lets get both cars in the top 5. I take your challenge.
