Well, the race went down last night, we lost the RC SW, had to use TrakMate, then the 4th driver had an emergency so we raced with 3drivers on 3 lanes. My thanks to Brian W and Kyle who helped clean the tires and setup each race, while I setup each race in TrakMate.

We noticed this car’s body was doing a tire profiling, would have turned better times if the the body was clearing the tires!

Wow...that was a lot for the three of you and special accolades are deserved. Congrats to Sir Smokeio, Audi 1 and our host on the podium finish. Interesting to see the tire combinations that are present in this Proxy.

Interesting observations last night ...

The Slot.it N22’s on Christian’s and my car held the grip the longest. But both our cars lacked top end speed to keep up with the big guys, but did handle very well. Of course one other car had N22’s, but didn’t do as well, not sure why, last night was a blur :D

Audi1 and Smokeio ran the same tires, but Audi1’s gave out in the last 4-5 laps. This was also the last race of the night, I figured the track had to be “rubbered in” at this point!

Plus driving styles played into the results too! Cars I thought handled well, other drivers didn’t have the same opinion and visa versa. Hard to take all this into account when building a proxy car!

All in all it was fun and a great bunch of cars to drive! ;Thanks for allowing me the pleasure!

This proves to hold some great contests between entries.
Love seeing those .3 or .4 of a lap differences, some good close racing.

Congratulations to our podium finishers. Great pictures. Thanks for getting it done with all the challenges you had. Looks like rubber is the tire to be on. I'll have to get with the Ferrari Chassis engineers :|

Congrats to Smokeio on an impressive 3+ lap victory in the Shadow DN4! Congrats also to Bob (mether05) for a close 3rd place finish!

Running all of those cars on a 3-lane track takes some time...….ask me how I know...……..

The next Round was going to be in the Midwest, but we're having some scheduling problems and are looking for another track here in New England before shipping them off to CA for the final US Round.

Thank Bob and crew for running this Round for us. They are a nice group of cars to race.

As for my #12 - meh.... It must be lacking in so many areas....

Is anyone compiling a spec spread sheet of the field - to give a few clues? Tires, diameter, motor, ratio, weight, weight distribution, rear track and guide lead measurements would make for a very interesting analysis...

This has been a very interesting part of many other proxies, hopefully this could be provided for this one too....
