Put a lot of weight up front on the chassis, you'll get the front tires to touch. You've been hanging with Dickie and the drag racers, haven't you.............?

Allan, I can send ya 20 like for the 908 I managed to squeeze in and build, or you could paypal invoice me? for the CanAm entry...my better half slotter asked about the SCC box that had come with the Chaparral hop up parts. I'm youger but with you guys and lost five buds to heart attacks since Nov. And we lost 'our' /her 26yo to a brutal 7 mo C fight two weeks ago.
Digressing, this Chaparral 2E will be a monster, I promise.
Have some fun and run some laps, cause that little white car is coming!! Lol.

Hi Steve, Right, 15x10 wheel max / 12mm tire width max (shoulder-to-shoulder).

Yes I see that. My 'confusion' is why was the tire width increased, or why was the wheel width not also increased? Wheel should be as wide as the tire, hence my desire for a 10mm wide wheel under a 10mm tire in the other discussion wherever it was...

You can run a 10mm wide tire under a 15x10 wheel and have the widths match, or you can use a wider tire on the same wheel.

Allan, the Chaparral came out really well, but I'm going to withdraw,
You can use the entry fee toward shipping the field around the tracks.
Enjoy,

Hi Paul, Are you sure? The cars aren't due until May 1st; that's almost 3 months away. I'll do whatever you want and thanks a lot for the Registration Fee donation (it will be put to good use), but you've got quite a bit of time to think this over if you need it.........

Here's an update for you. 18 racers have paid their Registration fee as of today. Three weeks left to the close of registration. Anyone who is on the pre-registered list of 32 cars and who has not paid their Registration fee needs to have their:
1. Registration fee paid
2. Car designated
3. Car # designated
by March 1st. After that date, racers on the Waiting List can move up to the registered list by paying their registration fee (check the rules to see the mechanics of that substitution process).
So, for those of you on the pre-registered list, be sure and have the above 3 things completed by March 1st; thanks.
To check the status of those on the Pre-registration List, those on the Waiting List and those who have paid their Registration fee, please see the first post on page one of this thread; it's updated whenever there's a change and it's a good place to keep track of everything that's going on for this proxy series.
