Thanks to Dave and the Drivers; much skill on display. I can now appreciate how much work goes into hosting a proxy, from the live feed, to creating and updating the worksheet for the standings. Thanks Dave for the braid adjustment on the first lap of the #91 Escort, that little 18K Minnow motor was no match for those 21.5K cars. Looks like the Capri's will make the U2 class interesting for the Alfa's this year.

Thanks for showing the difference some "tweeking" makes on these cars. I'll have to start learning the Technics. Most of my cars are pretty much stock so when we race they are pretty even. Will be fun to learn.

“Clown Car” David?... Is that a challenge for 2019?
To keep the wheels to scale, I had to go 1/48 scale.. doesn’t allow one much choice in the way of gearing if you want to clear the track. In the case of the Mini it was an offset, upside-down 11/23 SlotIt, and a reversed JK F1 bracket to get clearance for the Piranha.. but yes (sigh), I sent you a Trans Am “Clown Car”..., but who knows, on a track with short straights?

...and once again, you had to fix my O2 car.... traditions, traditions.

I first saw that guide on one of the Forums Cup cars when it came here a few years ago. I thought it would have a problem on my Scaley Sport which it did. It was hitting the wires on the power track. Have since changed the power track. Not sure if I took some of the depth off of mine or not. But the person who sent the car here left it as purchased and didn't cut any off the front or back. Now you talk about a big blade. I believe I cut two sections off of the front. Been to long and I can't remember.

I believe you are correct, the bottom was trimmed down a bit. To be honest I committed a cardinal sin this go round. I tested with a smaller blade but after realizing the all wood tracks, swapped it before sending it off..... un-tested... :naughty:
