Just a quick note to give a big THANK YOU to all of you who took the time, effort, and investment into entering this race.

We had 33 total cars. Now, think about that for just a bit. That is a A LOT of cars. For really any Proxy. And we still can claim WorldWide status thanks to BARC1 in Canada~

And ours is a oval racing theme, with a one track only venue. Finally these are SCRATCH built!

I would say that's pretty impressive, albeit my bias :)

It is just great seeing the art/craft of scratchbuilding very much alive and well in this slice of the hobby. Regardless of how you feel your model or chassis looked or performed, the point is you DID IT.

Thanks for putting this all together Harry, alot of great builders out here indeed. Hopefully in the up coming months something else(hint hint) will come out of this as well. Thank you Harry! Even though I had a poor showing this year I have some ideas and will try to get an earlier start for next years running. You got to be on your game to run with this bunch.

I don't want to offend anyone by asking this, but would you guys ever consider selling some of these great cars?? Also does anyone know of someone who has or makes a resin Scarrab and Chapparral 1 body? I'd love to try my hand at scratch building or customizing but just haven't had the guts to try it yet. Maybe this year?? Thanks for all your GREAT looking pictures of the cars you build!!

But you can do this.
Go get a decent soldering iron. Some brass. Start practicing. I look back on chassis I made and compare them to today. As "Waytoomuch" would say: "WOOF!"
