Okay, after a busy morning of racing, we have the official results!

JT (60), Brain (67), and Chris VW (198) on the podium. Fairly close racing across the board.

Special thanks to Bob M for hosting and qualifying and the NERF team for helping make the race happen.

Nice job guys! Thanks for hosting and racing. Congrats to JT for 1st place finish....some close lap totals through the top finishers. Bob...looks like you figured out the new timing/lap count system..being able to record lap segments automatically. :text-coolphotos:

Great coverage and run.

Congratulations to the podiumites. Too bad Brainslot's car missed the first four races given the performance in this race.

Score board has been updated. The top of the standings has certainly tightened up.

Thanks to Bob M and the rest of the NERF boys.

Are we now moving on to Doubl B's neck of the woods?

I wasn’t able to take many notes while we were driving in scoring so here is a somewhat organized group of comments about the cars:

We organize the race with one driver staying in their lane for the entire event with the car is rotating in and across the four lanes and then rotating out. We relied on the track software to set up the heat and to track the sections which works surprisingly well.

Starting from the top finishers, the number 60 drove very steadily and was planted didn’t feel especially fast but was on perturber ball and just racked up the laps.

Both the 198 and the 67 were faster than the 60 but both were subject to occasional off’s and surprising locations that would catch their drivers off guard. That 198 was especially fast in a straight line and had amazing roll through for track calls.

The 79 the five and the nine more stable reliable drivers that Bill top laps steadily. I don’t recall any nasty habits on any of them have a number nine’s head departed from his body part way through the racing.

The next group with a preponderance of the blue cars look great out on the track. For some reason they similar liveries resulted in a similar pace and the cars seem to race closely in the several hits that they were in. As I look back at the results I see Duke‘s car didn’t do nearly well here as it has on most of the tracks (with one exception) I don’t know what to attribute it’s position to, perhaps it’s more of a top speed car than this track prefers.

Car’s 14 and 10 were surprises to me: after driving them, I expected them to finish further up in the standings. I thought that they generally handled well the few occasional offs but they had a lot of character to the way they drove: 10 light and precise while 24 was a big bruiser.

Both the 54 and 12 would benefit from more weight down low. The 54 like to Joey Chitwood around the corners- fun and exciting when it came back down on four wheels, not so much when it bicycled off the lane! The 12 was fast but untamed.

Lots of beautiful chassis, especially the yellow truss on 79, 198s minimalist brass, and Duke and RS Wheels wire chassis.

Nice work guys and have to say (again) that Cornerstone looks like a great track for racing! And congrats to those on the podium.
