Sprite Proxy 2018 Round 6 Cornerstone Raceway

The Sprites have arrived and crews are busy preparing for qualifying this Saturday the 17th. Saturday plans to be milder than the chilly, snowy weather that the North East has been experiencing in recent weeks. Cornerstone has had some upgrades over the winter with a new Jumbotron (32” monitor) and Miniton (24” monitor) installed for better race viewing and stats (for the drivers).

Is the track more urethane tire friendly than it was for the U13 Challenge a few years back?

Sure it is! :liar:

I’ll know better on Saturday, but the track has run urethane successfully since that race. It is totally clean, no tape residue, etc… the tires haven’t been glazing, so hopefully all will go well.

Of course time will tell, I will give these cars every possible chance to perform their best.
