The driver head is from Immense Miniatures in 1/24. I particularly like the realistic facial features in all their offerings.

Ordered a few different drivers heads and body parts from Immense Miniatures and they can in yesterday, all I can say is WOW!! Very detailed, the castings are perfect with nothing to fill in and the facial expressions are spot on.

Hope I can do them justice when the time comes to pain them.

I also ordered the Alfred Neubauer figure in 1:32, it requires assembly but even without any paint it is by far the best 1:32 figure I have ever seen. I will definitely be ordering more of their products, no more blob heads for me! :lol:

Enjoying a really nice autumn day with balmy 20 degree C temperatures so got final white primer on and gassing off outside.



Will get French Blue on before sunset.

Final coat of Tamiya French Blue applied.





Opened up the grille area as the molded detail was too faint. Will insert fine mesh to fill the void.

Final assembly not far off.

Just need car numbers and we're done. I'd like script-like numbers instead of roundels, so Luf's going to die cut some thin black vinyl ones for me.

That turned out awesome, very nice work!! I’m going to do the cowl thing behind the driver also, I think it looks really cool.

I am going to try and post some pictures later of where I am at, which is not very far but I should be done done in time.
