I would like to have a crack at this event, count me in probably an Audi R8 LMS, have to find the rear wing, it seems to have vanished.
Do Carrerra make one as a spare???

ordered the hawk 18 K motor, Audi R8 LMS united auto colours, slot it wheels and axles, sloting plus bushes glued in, 9/27 gearing, not sure what tyres on the rear yet, slot its up front. might have to make a rear wing for it yet
I ran it a while back with a Pioneer 18K and slot it gears 10/26 and scaleauto foams and it was a rocket in our GT class so hopefully its similar
should be a fun series

Austin if you want to and we have a bit of a track shprtage, i will hpst a double round.
Of ot is scheduled last, i can separate the Canadian entries and send them home from here, returning the balance to you.
It should save time and cash by avoiding the bprder an extra 2 ti es for the Northern Entries.

Hi Austin,

Finally got around to opening up a couple of Carrera's, to see what's what..... :scared-eek:

So, wiring - once we replace the guide, can we remove all the spaghetti that's in there and just run lead wires straight from the guide to the motor, eliminating the reversing switch, circuit board and lights?

Next trick will be to work out how to get the front traction magnet out.... :think:

And then everything else remains stock (but blueprinted).....

Do I have all that correct?

You can do some modifications.
This is a urethane tire proxy, so rear tires need to be urethane
