1952 Mercedes 300sl Panamerica

Postby Tigeracer » Wed Oct 31, 2012 7:33 pm

Hi All,
I finally finished this Mercedes 300sl.
It's a transam6870 resin on a much altered SCX Tuner Chassis
The decals are homemade, the green details are painted, not decals.
Wheels are photos glued to the wheels to get a more authentic look. The tuner wheels just don't cut it.

That is a great looking 300SL and what a great Idea to cover the wheels with.
remember no matter if you drag, drive in a circle, or on a road, if you go fast enough you still get dizzy

Sweet looking car Greg, really like the detail work you've done on it.

I agree. I'm not sure if that is a general opinion in the hobby, though.
Personally, I like the older cars, too.

Unfortunately I am not very selective when it comes to buying Kyosho's, so they will never feel any pressure coming from me to make something else for fear of losing my business; Whateve they make I buy it!

Kyosho "hey what about a Reliant Robin?" Masmojo"SURE, what the heck!" LOL!!!
