1/43 SCX Compact Car/Track Maintenance

:auto-layrubber: For those of you who own SCX Compact cars and are "squeamish" about eliminating the copper strip contact tabs above the slide-guide brushes and do not wish to replace them with "hard-wires" soldered to the motor, here is an easy way to clean and maintain those critical contact areas for long-lasting performance. Yes, it's a "shameless" advertisement for Aerocar Slot Rail & Braid Cleaner/Conditioner. This stuff is the "holy grail" when it comes to any surfaces requiring flawless electrical contact. It cleans and conditions leaving a 100% conductive, dry coating that protects for long periods between applications. Unlike WD-40 and other popular, dielectric (insulating type) household/automotive chemicals, Aerocar is conductive. It is designed specifically for our hobby applications and is the "right tool for the job", hands down. It is also recommended for enhanced performance in digital tracks and cars. I use it on my own cars and track and have enjoyed great results. Aerocar Slot Rail & Braid Cleaner works on any scale of track, any type of contact metal, and is compatible with all plastics and most painted surfaces. It is best applied with lint/fiber-free, reusable, foam tipped swabs available at,
