1/43 Le Mans car proxy?

Dodge Viper RTS #93 that Carrera GO 61282 looks like took part Le Mans 2013.

Corvette C6 #63 is a 2006 entry, I think that is the Kyosho body shell you was thinking Peter.

So both are Le Mans Cars.

And Peter, the Kyosho Aston Martin DB9 #009 is 2007 entry so that would suit as well,

just saying cause I know you have worked with one

So, I’m thinking of entering a Porsche Spyder RS. They ran in 2008 and 2009 at Le Mans.
Is there an article about converting the Carrera go 1/43 from a post guide to a regular swivel type guide?

Yes Peter, the Vipers did run at Le Mans, as did Corvettes.

I just ordered this chassis for my Viper.

Bob, thanks for offering to host, I will contact you by PM when I put the rules out. The Kyosho Dslot will be fine but, as applies to all of the entries, it will need urethane rear tyres. The stock Kyosho tyres are hopeless for cars running no magnets.

Austin and z-carfan, I have used Marc's older chassis, and those produced by Pfuetze and recommend them as a great way to build a quick 1/43 car.

So far we have offers to host from:

Australia
Austria
Canada
France
Germany
and 3 tracks in the UK

I would really like to hear from anyone in the USA who is up for hosting a race, and anyone else who would like to do so.
