track 3.jpgI might have to settle using modded bits of these from an Eldon Selectronic set. The lap counter will count total laps for EACH of 2 cars in the ac2car circuit regardless which lane its in.

By modifying the stock Selectronic LC by moving the lap counter buttons further out from the center of the slot, another pair of cars could be counted for laps (with a 1/8" wide copper braid glued in the very bottom of each slot).

While I recall that Cox Super Scale track was basically modded Eldon track, I am now looking into Eldon Selectronic lane change track sections, as I have found no Cox Super Scale sets on the auction site that contain lane change track. They are just regular 2 lane tracks with the Lespinay-designed angle winder cars. Such a lap counter is a pretty nifty solution to a 2 car 2 slot ac2car track w/crossover.
