After reading the rules and finding out my other entry did not fit, I set out to build an entry from a Volvo 544 resin shell Lloyd had traded with me some time ago.
The chassis is a Brass with Lego Axle Blocks. Bearings are mounted for the 2mm rear axle and the front 2mm axle runs through a brass sleeve. A Mineabea S can is arranged in an Anglewinder configuration. I am using one of Peters Slide Guides to allow the navigation of tight corners and am using BARC urethane rear tires
Car was painted to represent a 1960s entry into the Monte Carlo Rally.
A lot of weight has been added to keep the COG on this tall car as low as possible. The result is a car that is hard to deslot with a very predictable slide. I hope it is up for the Rally Challenge.
