Trying to find a solution to Carrera 1/43 scale guide posts issues on cars that break off. The posts appear to be pressed into the chassis but they come out. I am looking for a solution to the problem. Any ideas? Glues that work? Any idea would be helpful.

Hi, if the guide is old and used maybe it's just broken and needs to be replaced.
New ones are sometimes really tight and you need to press it pretty hard to get it deep enough so that the pin locks to it's place.

Most cases of the guide pin breaking is from it bottoming out in the slot and catching at the track joints. Try trimming about a 1/16" off the end of the guide pin to keep it from catching.
