Again with the proxy coming in the future I have been looking for cars that i will use. This Lexus competed in last years race but was off the pace. I like the car so I though I would build a new chassis for it. Very similar to the Gift card chassis, but instead I am using Brass plate. Lego blocks re used for Axle blocks, and the rear ones are fitted with flanged bearings. The motor is the Minebea S can that turns 16000 RPM at 12 volts. For proxy racing it is a little slow, but I have the ability to turn up my track to almost 14 volts and at that voltage the rpm is sufficient to get the most out of the motor. At 12 volts it just isn't fast enough and at 10 volts it is really anemic. However, like most of my cars they are built to run on my track and these motors are super for my needs.

CA glue is used to hold everything together that isn't soldered, and the bond seems to be really strong.

A nice rework.

I fully agree with Peter.

How much does the new, heavier model weigh now ?
