Dan,
i´m in (with untracked shipping, the costs are okay).

Now, into the basement and find some cars with closed motors :-)
I think the Cuda will be a good one which fits the field :)

I enjoyed your race reports and videos of last years event really much!

Hi Roland

Shipping depends a lot of the box size and weight, but typically small package air with no tracking will be less the $20. IF you want tracking and insurance it goes up substantially to $46.00

Thank you, Dan.

A short info for all who are interested in overseas Proxies but a bit discouraged by the shipping costs :

From Germany to the rest of the world are four options

3.70 Euros - 500 grams - length x width x height max. 900 mm
7.00 Euros - 1000 grams - as above

No insurance, no tracking, but this should encourage to take part in the coming Truck Proxy...

You can add registration, then you have tracking as well.

2.50 Euros extra
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PARCELS

16 Euros - small parcel, uninsured, no tracking
38 Euros - regular parcel, insured, tracking

Greetings,
Roland

The tracking is the part I don't understand. In today's modern world, every package has a barcode on it. Does it really add substantially to the cost of handling the package? No, but universally it looks like post offices everywhere charge 300% more to turn this feature on. Seems like a bit of a money grab to me.

So far I take the chance and just ship it with no tracking. I look at it this way. Regardless of how it is shipped the chance of the package getting lost are the same. In the tracked package case I will just know it is lost sooner. :D
