BARC Racing Headquarters

BARC has three entries in this years race. 2 GC sidewinder chassis using Minebea S class motors and a tuned Carrera inline using the same motor. All three cars are riding on BARC Bite tires that were glued and tried prior to leaving the Kleskun Hills facility.

Hours of testing and tuning went in these cars in an effort to improve on last years results. The competition is tough against some of the best 143 builders in the world. We are under no illusion. It will be tough to find the middle of the pack in the 2017 ProNoMag.

It is now time for the racing action to begin. Entering this event has resulted in countless hours of enjoyment building and tuning cars. It has provided the purpose to build cars.

I would like to thank Peter for opening up the Desmo for this event. I wish all the competitors the best of luck going into this race. The field of cars and the level of detail is a real showcase of what 143 scale racing can be. Congratulations to all the fine entries. Regardless of where the cars may place, just being involved is reward in itself. So thank you to all who have contributed to this fine event.

I completely agree with you Dan. Since European entries have increased at the Pronomag, the quality of new builds in 1/43 scale is reaching new heights. Together with your progressive work in Canada, the scratchbuild part of the hobby has never looked stronger!

Keep up the good work Peter, and maybe we can develop a worldwide proxy series like there is in 1/32 scale.

Regards, Lloyd.
