Almost done...

Since most of the curve apron near the pit lane will hang in the air , I cut a small piece of 1/8" thick wood & screw it down so it would be solid even if we bump it...
That was already plan when I did my layout & saw how close it was to the edge I was just waiting to do this last , now it is done...

The wood piece cut & put it in place...









After I screw it down I put some small pieces of tape over the screws , that way if I want to remove it later on (layout change etc..) all I have to do is scratch the drywall compound away & remove the tape to unscrew the screws...





Drywall compound all done just waiting for it to dry completely so I can send it then make the finishing coat & painting...

My track borders (aprons) have all been done for about a week now but I was to busy having fun doing some laps & testing (power supply , controllers ,etc...)

2 pictures for now until I take the time to make a good video with the cars running on the track
