should work, but be carefull, if the rails stick out high, the magnet will catch the rails and stop the car.

Member mgs75thmeu (left hobby 3-4 yrs ago) used to run 1/43 on a 120 ish' Ninco 1/32 track. IIRC there was some mention of raised rails.

Ninco because that's what I have. Over the decades I've raced HO, 1/32 and 1/24 on home and commercials tracks. So, I'm interested in giving 1/43 a 'go' to see if I'm missing anything. I just sold my house and will have to downsize anyways in my new digs.

Tire selection is most important on Ninco track. You probably already noticed the surface is very aggressive. I'd toss the magnets before you go any further. They make you dependent, and when you go to traditional tracks at other folks' places, you drive like you are impaired. Copper tape on the rails after you settle on a track design will make life easier, too. If you tape the rails, be certain that the rails have been degreased thoroughly, and don't let yourself stretch the tape. Just lay it down easy.

Right! I don't use magnets, just ballast if required and adjust the voltage.

I just scooped the deal of a lifetime …….. 27 Artin 1/43 cars, miles of track, 4 transformers, 10 speed controllers and lots of other pieces …………. all for $40 CDN. :D :D :D

So, just had to give them a try on my Ninco oval using 6 volts. Not too bad at all, more like 1/32 than 1/64. The cars will need some TLC, fine tuning and some custom made dwarf modified bodies.

The Artin track doesn't provide the space between cars, so drifting on the corners causes havoc. But, on the Ninco you can drift past without incident with no magnet and a bit of forward ballast. It also looks way better on the big tack with the corner radius I have, more scale like.
