Wow, some really nice cars. All of them look great. Tilo’s Porsche’s 908 and 906 really caught my eye

Excitement is building as the cars take their places on the DESMO. Great pictures of the track, cars, and people. The place looks exciting, with all the people checking out the cars on parade. Some really fine looking cars. Looking forward to seeing the qualifying results, and of course the race outcome.

Sadly sounds like a lot of disqualified cars if only 18 starts the race.

if i may i can tell you a word about the DQs... or better DNQ (did not qualify) (if this abreviation exists).
one car was too slow (due to the guide blocking)
one car had guides cables made out of one solid piece of copper (it seems), with a very, very lightweight body and chassis, so it did not go around corners.
one car had a badly jumping rear end and i was afraid to ruin it if i do 100 laps under full race pressure
one had a loose pinion and refused to go faster
very very sadly my time is limited again, so the race management decided that each team will go into the race with only 2 cars. which meant that the slowest car out of a 3-car-team will not be in the race, "only" in the qualifying runs. i hope you can forgive me this.
i wanted to change rules from 2017 to 2018 (qualifying time 12s instead of 13s, 2 cars per team instead of 3), but due to limited time i did forget it. now i remembered and try to get out the misery in the described way.
