Thanks for the updated spread sheet.

Congratulations to all racers and our podium finishers. Was glad to see my number 9 Porsche in the top 20 of 39 cars. Thanks to all who hosted and served as drivers and marshals.

What's next? Ford vs Chevy? Oh surely not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to kidvoltage, smokeio and drw21 on their overall first, second and third place finishes; 400+ points for each of those three cars! Well done! :text-bravo:

And in the team standings, Ford edged Porsche by about 200 points out of 2000. So, another team win for the blue oval cars from Detroit!

Overall, a great series; just one time hiccup in transit from RSA to New Zealand, but other than that, the pace was better than one race/month, which isn't bad for cars that travel completely around the world.

What's next...…….hmmmm……….. we'll see...……

Re: my #14 and #3 cars, I bought a book; it's called "Urethane Tires for Dummies" - maybe it will help. Interestingly, page one opens with the statement: "never run urethane tires in a rubber/urethane proxy...……." Think I may heed that advice...………. :lol:

I'm not too sure about mixing the two types of tires at the same time.
From what I have learnt and please correct me if need be........
Rubber will have more grip on a dust free track than urethanes where as urethane tires can be more tolerant of track conditions.
Urethanes are known to deposit dust on the track which is fine for them but the rubber tires collect that dust and loose traction.
Rubber makes it easier to have a smoother running car at a higher pace..
There just my observations from local racing and proxies I have entered and followed.
What the answer is - I don't really know.
Either way this has been a Damn fine series, bring on the next one Allan.
