Alright - back racing again - well, almost........

Thanks for the shakedown results and comments, John. And thanks to Alexis, too, for positioning them in descending order.

My #3 and #14 cars are on urethane tires; PGT's, it's a first for me and I knew when I sent them in that they had traction issues. I clearly have a lot to learn about truing urethane tires............! So, seeing them in the mid-pack is not surprising......it could be worse...........and it may be worse come race day.........

Congrats to Dave (drw21), Tony (BrumosRSR) and Richard (slotting since 1963) for their top qualy results! :text-bravo:

Alexis thank you for sorting the results. 8th place for your #28 isn't looking bad since you say you didn't have time to sort any bugs out of it. At least my cars are in the top half of the field. My NSR Ford GT40 #6 was a rush with limited testing. It replaced a Slot.it at the first race after it was found to have mechanical issues.

Thank for the qualifying run and getting the most out of the #33 I know it was not easy. Running different tires on the #111 and the #33 as a learning exercise as I do not have direct access to a routed track. Congratulations to the other podium builders and good luck to the Porsche Team and the other builders.

I am now looking for an envelope of time to start the cars in race mode...soon hopefully.

I have run some cars under race conditions today.

This guide front profile doesn't work well on a couple of off-camber corners on the Anaconda.
Lots of grip and powering through the off-camber this shape encourages the guide to lift the car up and out of the slot.
More weight in the nose or a different shape to the guide leading edge would help.


Perhaps this is common on plastic tracks?.

There are some seriously fast cars in this lot...faster than the Ferrari/Ford round here last year.
