Great work Troy and Harry, super happy with my result, can’t wait to race itself. Entering proxy is great experience but hosting one is even better, best learning takes place there.

That's a reasonable request that should be allowed in most any proxy. Tires should be cleaned at each venue as a matter of practice. Abnormal behavior should be given consideration.

Yes but only using masking tape or water not lighter liquid

But that is a chemical and as chemical can restore the rubber tire performers . Water and masking tape are neutral they only clean tire without changing the structure

Urethanes dont absorb anything, alcohol cleans track dirts and thrown lube, water can't...

As far as tires go, urethanes have become the defacto standard proxy tire. Certain rubber tires can work better (NSR, etc.) for a short time before they fall off, but doesn’t everyone know this by now? I agree that the use of a cleaning agent other than water or spit on rubber tires is equivalent to giving urethanes a polish. The rules clearly state that no tire treatments are to be used, so if you chose to glue on some rubber you take your chances....

Thanks for the run, great to see car #7 more towards the top than the bottom, finally it looks like we are at a track (great looking track BTW) that prefers urethane over rubber.

If lighter fluid is legal to be used at race events to clean tyres, then the cars with urethane tyres might as well pack up and go home.

#19 Porsche 718 with its short wheelbase and narrow stance was never going to be near the front. # 20 Ford is demonstrating the same characteristics as my TransAm car. Will have to start using deeper guides.
