Early stages for me......not sure how it's going to work out or what the heck I'll end up with , but I thought I would contribute a few pictures of what I have going on so far.

Ya' know, you've got one on the setup block and ya think it's looking pretty good, and then someone posts some pictures like that wicked Ford Rob is working up...? Humbling is all I can say.

Looks good! - I like the Shell livery - nice job. But the Minnow motor might be a problem for you in the performance category ............ :o :lol:

Work on the mirage is still in progress. Here is a couple more pics. Body and chassis are ready for painting, glass works can then be installed. I did a few laps with the chassis only, and there is definitely room for improvement...we'll keep on tuning!

Hi Gents,heres he start of my build, my plan is to build my chassis, guide and motor pod out of Lexan.

This is where I am with my build,I will be putting it all under a Ford Mk 4

Very interesting.... i like this! Is the lexan vacform, or how do you get it in that shape (3D printing?) Apologies for all the questions, but I would really like to know. Is it strong enough? What thickness?

Hi Clive,I start with a piece of Lexan about 13mm thick and roughly the length and width I need, then I mill and machine the pieces into the shape I want.Lexan is very strong and flexible, you don't just break this stuff.
I'll post some more photos in the week.
