We just had another meet yesterday, and it was quite the day for the Country Girl.
Mike, racing with us for the 1st time, got to drive her and he really put on a show. He not only made top qualifier, he broke the class record in his qualifying run with a 1.1014 @ 241.78 pass (24.178 actual mph). He then proceeded to take down every opponent on his way to the final, even lowering the ET record to 1.1011 along the way. In the final, he was matched up against a previous opponent that the Country Girl had faced before in the final and lost. This time however, Mike was able to revenge the previous loss and took the win.


Yeah, I was a happy camper watching it all.... :D
