1/32 Sportsman Galaxie

Postby HomeRacingWorld » Sat Dec 31, 2016 9:28 pm

I have decided to go as far as I can in this challenge. I will create a new mold using this Monogram body and then use the new resin body for the model itself.

This car has been on that "to do" list. I have done a few GM models, so it's time a FORD joined the ranks.

Here are the basic running gear parts I will use.

Will update with all parts links and begin with body prep. Just showing my choice for now. Figure what better way to close the year out than finally picking my build

Great body choice for a resin. Should make a great showdown car!

the build off is about showing your methods and tools that you use to build cars
it can be of any scale any type of chassis and body material you like
how you modify parts or use bits and pieces that most wouldn't have thought of using

its all about others seeing how and why you build cars the way that you do so others can learn and get ideas
for their own builds

just follow the rules as posted at the top of the page
and start your own thread in the build off section that people can follow

Thankyou Crocket...I must be getting dense. I'll look on the desk see what's hiding in the pile. It's time I did something productive and related to my hobbies.
I've been out of circulation since spring when my wife passed, but I'm gonna do something and try harder.

Welcome Back Racie35.

Time to take a deep breath and get your hands and mind into something. I pray for your strength and that you are at peace with your new reality. I look forward to seeing what you decide to come up with. Can't think of much else to say except you are with Friends here.

Cheers

No problem at all sir.

I use the JK bracket for most of my builds lately.

LINK to bracket

Here is a build from start to finish that features the bracket. Hope it helps
