Clive

Not sure if you are only interested in production cars used for racing, or absolute thoroughbreds built only for racing. If the latter is okay here's my challenge:

Shadow DN4A from 1974 - 75

Now that I'm Can-Am crazy this is my dream slot car. If you make it I promise to buy at least 2, the #101 & #102.

that car looks great, but it seems it would be very hard to get the guide in a decent position without distorting the body. Unless your ok with having the pivot point behind the axle.

The Slot.It chassis under the Ferrari 312 PB has a very low guide post located just in front of the front axle that I think would work under a body like the Shadow. The guide post top is just below the front axle height. It may be a variant of \the EVO6 Slot.it chassis.

This is an image of the Slot.It Chaparral 2E chassis, which is similar.

Clive - if you need a chassis like this to experiment with I can send you the Ferrari 312 PB one I have to check out.

Hi All,

Slothead, here is where I'm at...
Lots of pics, but no dimensions, nor blueprints as there where only 5 of these car built.
I see lots of 1:43 models, but not any 1:32 slotcar models.

so, CARacing presents, Shadow DN4 custom made...I'm giving the clay a first time try and not wood as usual. The next couple of days will be setting/curing time for the clay and then the silicone mould will come after.

Hope this attempt at your favourite car meets your expectations...

Right click on the photo and use copy image address. Then press the little button up there that looks like the mountain with a sun.

Paste that URL you copied in that box.

Hi Harry, please could you help with my TAPATALK activation for CARacing?
The message I keep on receiving is "waiting for administrator to activate account" for Home Racing World. I always used to use TAPATALK which worked wonders for me. Please help.

TapaTalk is now a paid service for websites. It is being dropped by more and
more sites including this one and my website.

Yes, unfortunately TAPATALK has become more of a nuisance than a resource. Not just the fees, but the updates and support are literally gone.

They shut off support for this site without warning, and almost like Photobucket, held us "hostage" for fees.

No dice.

Try Postimage to post quick pics. Free and and easy.

It took 5 seconds to right click on your Google photo and post it here. Just FYI.
