HF Vacuum Pumps

Saw the basic pump at Harbor Freight today. With the %30 off coupon this weekend, makes this a pretty good deal if you are in the market.

And yes, more than enough. Basically the same system I have and works fine.

Would you use this for degassing the mold rubber or for the resin?

is 2.5 cfm enough?
I have 6 which gives a quicker operation.
This helps when it is a warm day as my silicone can go off too quickly.
This summer I am keeping the silicone in the (workshop) frig.
Bring on the cooler weather I say.
