Well, here the second figure, to keep the poor driver not so alone.
Again the basis were the parts of a driver in lying ( driving ) position. But this time I needed two separate heads, one to be hollowed for getting a single helmet, the other one being “unhelmeted†for the second man.
It is not easy to shape a realistically appearing backside….
Before removing the helmet, the head was glued on a 3/32 shaft for better handling.
A cut and a notch are necessary to get the arm bent as needed.
“Raw†body – You see clearly where baking soda and superglue were used.
The complete man. He consoles his teammate or praises him, who knows ?
As intended – hand in the pocket, helmet on the arm. Doesn´t it “live†?
