My oldest son Christopher starting on the Scalextric Camaro Short Tracker. This is our next mold.

Fun seeing him at work.

Ahh,, it`s about time somebody did this year camaro in a oval racer. Thought I was gonna have to break out the tools myself, looking forward to possibly getting a couple of these !

Watching him make his first is fun. Made some progress today.

Thats my favorite camaro body. His first chassis is looking great!!

Great to see a young guy developing these skills and learning he can make stuff!!!

Today we started on adding a front spoiler.





A face only a scratchbuilder can love? Maybe not.



Once we sanded the spoiler, my son decided we needed wider, more pronounced flares. So we followed the procedure we used on the Buick.



Ones the plastic was glued and shaped a little, we poured the resin over them.





Need another coat and plenty of sanding, but getting there. AND the best part is, my son did it on his first try.

Ya baby!!!! Lovingbthis one. You folks are on fire down there!!

Great work, but he has a very good teacher. Actually I think we are all learning from this build.

Couple days of primer and wet sanding. Seems to be ready for the silicone soup.









Time to start the tape and mold box.

Congrats to my son for doing a great job his first time out. I am sure it will make a cool slot car.
