Way to go, Dave. Excellent write up on how to do this stuff.

You guys in North America have it lucky with buying quality products easily. You can walk in to a store and see what you need.
I have to phone up a supplier and order using my credit card. It isnt too bad now I know what I want. I use Barnes products which comes over here from Australia....one thing the Aussies do well???

There is an Smoothon supplier here in NZ but he only sells in large quantities. Too large for me wanting to make a few pairs of tires but OK if I was making 50,000pairs.

Thanks for the instructions. I may just have to start this soon, about three weeks to be exact for we are finally getting a Hobby Lobby close to here instead of 45 minutes away. Now, is there a simple way to reduce the 1/24 to 1/32 size?

Dave,
I am having problems with the kids loosing not just the tire, but the entire wheel. I swear they drop into that black hole which shows up at every race, work bench, and where ever small parts are in attendance.
How would you cast something like an Artin Stocker wheel which has loads of detail and of course a hole for the axle?

Dave,

What resin material are you using for the bodies in the slosh mold?
