The track is really looking nice Bob. You have made good progress with it. This was the second proxy I entered, after the GVSCC Targa event. I think both cars were in the mail at the same time. This has been a long running around world event. It will be nice to see this completed and the cars on their way home.

Well lads i can finally say ythat the qually has been done. In frightful weather with frigid temps only the brave dared out. So i did it alone lol.
Anyway as you can imagine There were a number of things to do or contend with. Aside from each car having different handling qualities, i discovered some minor issues that i corrected such as wheel rub, broken windscreens , and bodies too loose. And of course getting used to each car meant getting up and down to reslot the deslot and reset the computer . Each car was ran for 10 laps in qually and each car was run for a few laps yestrday to orient myself with them. Then as i was about 20 cars in, driver fatigue started to set in.
All cars ran the middle lane and ran at the same settings on my Scorpius Wireless controller. Sure was nice not having to keep going back and forth to the driver station when i reslotted a car.
So it is 11:45 here now, and i am tired so am off to bed.
I will post the results tomorrow of the qually. I doubt the race will get underway as we are expecting a big snow overnight and tomorrow daytime. But we are getting there.
Off to bed now .

Good Morning Everyone.
Well as predicted we are having a big snow storm so no racing today.
But the good news is the Qually results.
It was a real priveledge to drive your cars on Canfield Green and experience the different builds and beautiful finishes of the cars (jealously here).

Each one was a bit different in handling characteristics some really smooth and fast others fast but crazy, and others just plain crazy, but all a lot of fun.
In a lot of cases the tail happy cars came down to tire choice and the slower cars just didnt have the legs for the long 24 foot straight. So here we go
1) 63 9.034
2) 21 Green jag 9.334
3) 23 Home track 9.385
4) 149 9.389
5) 157
6) 44 Red
7) 44 white
8) 45
9) 20
10) 152
11) 2
12) 6
13) 21
14) 33
15) 54
16) 4
17) 78
18) 77 9.989
19) 129 10.028
20) 113 10.069
21) 356
22) 31
23) 259
24) 12
25) 171
26) 53
27) 14
28) 11
29) 10 10.774
30) 5 11.441

I have all the cars cleaned and lubed and ready to go.

22) 31

As I've found in other events, it may be that I don't have a tall enough gear in the #31. could have sworn I went 9/27 but possibly not.

So far back, we’re not even in the picture.... Think it’s retirement time for the ‘53 Ford number 14...

Your welcome Bob. I can't believe that my two narrow, short wheel base cars (the 157 OSCA MT-4 and the 152 Porsche 550 coupe) are both in the top 10 in qualy at your track ................. Yikes! it's definitely Miller Time!

Actually they really handle the esses best due to the shorter wheelbase .

Is the 33 running on 2 cylinders? It has under performed the last 3rd of the season.

The 33 car is suffering from the motor getting tired i think.
I checked the wiring and braids and the chassis to ensure it was set as per your comments if any regarding float. But remember this was only about 10 laps so it could improve. A lot of the cars have big shudders as the tires are worn and not glued so it also creates issues with how fast a car can corner.
I'll have another look at it for you if you want
