Hi Dave, I removed the VW body from its unique mounting points and was able to bend the guide tongue into a better position by hand, no tools. The front wheels are on the deck and the car runs and looks much better this way.

And Dave...sorry to hear you were sick...can I guess that it was a dose of the dreaded head cold/manflu that seems to be constantly circulating the globe?

After an anniversary lunch of Salmon, black glutenous rice and some herbs and spices what else could I do but race a few cars.
There are more to put through their paces yet though. You also get a glimpse out the door at the winters afternoon...not bad weather really.

I got to have a good look at all the cars while at Munters
and I have to say shotgun's VW is a thing of beauty and my pic of best looking car

Bronchitis is no fun....take your meds and eat icecream is my suggestion.

I am half way through running the cars....some of those Corvettes are fast.

Some cars were tippy, some cars were slippy, some cars were jiggly and some cars weren't.
Fastest times came usually in the ten to twenty lap range but the fastest time of the day/s was set on the 51st lap.

No, you are not blind.
I am blind and stupid for missing out two cars it seems.

I think the tie for laps threw my already scrambled brain and then there was a certain other person who was speaking to me at the time of writing???

The Chevy is ahead of the Corvette due to faster "best lap" time.
