The parcel arrived. Naughty boy caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

But they just had to peep and unpack.

Al look in order, no breakages fresh from the box. Each car will be inspected, before a couple of test laps are done.

Well done to the owners and builders, these cars look amazing.

Gentlemen, wow wow wow.
During the previous week we did the Concourse, Quallies and the Race all at 1953. All results with pics will be posted tonight.

I just want to congratulate you all with stunning cars. The baught cars have been tuned to perfection, whilst the built cars are just sublime. Well done.

From all the cars, the Porsche parade was my favorite. WOW!

More pics and write up will follow.

Cool line up of vintage Porsche's! Looks like you guys are having some fun.

I think somewhere in the prior race, my little 356 RS guacamole Pacifico racer lost his windscreen... ugh. I had a small 1/3 to 1/2 size circle of lexan glued in with UHU Hart. Maybe the driver thought it was a motocross tearoff? I'll need to refit with a new updated version that has lexan tabs protruding down into slits on the dashboard area. Anyway, no big deal, less wind resistance faster. :handgestures-thumbup:

Cheers, Thompson

Tiny Alice Racing has never run outside the US before and we are thrilled to be in South Africa! This is a country I would really like to visit some day, in 1/1 scale. Have a great time and a great event, will be watching our girl closely....

Gents again, well done. We had a really difficult task in picking three cars that stood out for the concourse. So at the end it came down to personal favourites.
The winners of the Concourse PanAmerica South Africa 2017 are:

Image

1st Nr14
2nd Nr11
3rd Nr10

Well done, the pearl finish on nr14 was sublime, the detail on the green bug was astounding, whilst the perfect clear finish on the nr10 car was slarkling.

Well done,
Gavin

Race night, 3 drivers stay on their lanes, drivers did not change or moved station:

From left is Cobus, Richard & Jack. The forth guy is Clive and I took the photo.

Racing was 3min round robin, most laps with best average lap times.
Race results are:

Well done to the podium finishers.

More pics will be uploaded in my Google Drive, once done the link will be shared with you.

Now off to Rhino River for the 2nd leg in SA.

Congratulations to the race winners! Looks like a great time was had ah.. this morning?

Gavin, I am astonished and elated at the same time to be picked 1st on the Concourse for this event with a field like this!?! One for Alice, Alejandro, and American Steel... Thank you!! It can be done with acrylic craft paint, for those of us who are restricted from using anything else...

Very sleepy Val....

Congratulations to the concours and race leaders. The number 20 Barc Porsche was a mid pack runner placing 14. It would appear as if the car has the speed, but not the consistency required on all lanes.

I am pleased the gift card chassis is a solid mid pack runner in this proxy.

Thanks to the host and drivers for putting on the show in the South African leg of the race.

Well done
